"Made For You" began with re-creating my Nan's funeral tribute. I had ordered The Gates Of Heaven for her and it was stunning. The crematorium informed us that they would not keep any flowers or tributes for more than a few hours. This upset me not because it cost £120. but because it was to beautiful to discard whilst they were still fresh, and it seemed that my Nan would not have them for long. It may sound morbid to some but my Mother and I bought our tributes home to keep until they died. It made us feel more peaceful and that we were keeping them for my Nan. I wanted to re-create them so we could place them where her ashes were laid to rest. My Mother's tribute "Pillow Of Dreams" and "The Gates Of Heaven" were re-created in silk flowers at half the price and when they were finished a silent thought came to mind "Made For You". I had neve
r done anything like this before and I am sure this gift is inspired from spirit. Today "Made For You" means exactly that each arrangement is individual and unique, it has a personal touch. I source only the flowers that are life like for their quality and appearance. The containers are sourced from charity shops so that I can keep my costs low and give to worth while causes at the same time. It's a labour of love as my profit is minimal and sometimes none. I aim to please and to bring colour to people's lives that like me love flowers but hate to see them die. With silk flowers they last until you tire of them and fancy a change, granted you don't get the heavenly scent that comes with real flowers, but you can have your favourites all year round whether they are in season or not, and they last.
